It’s time for Celery’s Q&A time, where I share the intricacies of the Norwegian language with you, my small group of highly tolerant followers. This is my answer to straeon’s question to this post, which was: “How do you pronounce “dirty cum rag” in Norwegian?” It was a highly relevant question at the time, and one that I take very seriously as an occasional educator. I hope this clarifies things.
PS: Straeon, you should absolutely teach me how to pronounce your tumblr name right, because I made an attempt, but I’m about 100% sure I failed, which I apologize deeply for.
To those of my followers who are curious about my native language…
This is my dear friend and former roomie Celery, and she knows her shit, mkay? So listen closely and educate yourself, because one day you might admittedly in a highly unlikely set of circumstances find yourself in a situation where knowing the Norwegian translation for “dirty cum rag” could prove to be very important. Vital, even! Could possibly probably save your life! You never know, y’know? Better be prepared, is all I’m saying. :P
